These telescoping magnets are decent and do just what they are described to do. My only issue is that they would be a lot more user friendly if they had swivels on the ends. They still do a decent job without the swivels but it would help to get into a couple more places I think if they could be turned slightly. Other than that they are well made and sturdy and have good strong magnets on the end.

These are small enough to fit conveniently in a (back) pocket while on a work site.I have been using them to pick up dropped drywall and construction screws dropped on a concrete slab.Massive improvement over having to bend over and chase them around.They look exactly like in the product photos and extend 30- 36" and the round magnet screws into the end of the telescoping end. The grip is some type of soft rubber compound -- keeps it from slipping in sweaty hands.

I keep these all over the place because I drop stuff often and I have a TBI which makes bending over too much a sea sickening event. I have a grabber for non metal and these for anything metal like pens, tweezers, screws...whatever. Helped me rettrieve a dropped nut in a bandsaw during a blade change which was awesome as the nut had gone into the dust collection tube underneath and I didn't want to get under and disconnect it to fish out the nut.

These are extremely powerful little magnets. I ordered because I'm constantly dropping the little screws when I change my furnace filter and its a really tight space to get in to retrieve them. This extends way out and made it a breeze to retrieve the tiniest of screws.The price is really good for getting two of them.I left off a star though because they come with the actual magnet unattached and you have to screw it on to assemble it - which is fine. The issue I have is it constantly needs to be tightened. I think I will need to put a bit of nail polish on the threads to keep it from coming loose.Overall though, very handy little tool to have in the home tool box!

Here is another product I never knew existed but always wanted. The amount of times I tinker with my computer and lose those tiny screws is too many to recount, I used this tool and automatically picked up over 15 on one sweep around my desk area and behind my TV stand where it's difficult to go behind. I already know this will serve well when I drop bolts while working in my car. It's so easy to use, and there are 2 in the pack. For the price point, it's worth every penny. The magnet is more than enough to pick up heavy bolts and the tiniest of screws. Very happy with the quality.

I was looking for a tool that could help me pickup screws, bolts, or other smaller metal items behind hard to reach places. This was the perfect length, for what I needed and is easy to collapse and store. This is a must have for workshop people who tend to drop things often in places that are not always easy to get to. I was so happy this came in a pair as well, so it made it totally worth the money.Can also stick it in your pocket with the attached clip and the grip is phenomenal, definitely worthy of its 40ibs pull force without the handle coming apart.

These pickup tools are well made, with smooth telescoping action and comfortable handles. The magnets are as strong as you'd expect them to be for their size. I'm not sure how they're defining a 40 lb pull force, but that seems like an exaggeration. I found they had little trouble lifting a 1 lb hammer if you were careful (which frankly impressed me), but I'd be surprised if they could lift any object over 5 lbs.
