I am not a professional or electrician.It is your responsibility to research and know how to properly crimp and inspect your work.I am a beginner do it yourself hobby person learning to crimp.High quality and simple to use.The Pro Crimper CP-371 is much easier to squeeze and crimp than a major brand.I am satisfied with the die set metal quality.Note: With the screws finger tight slowly begin to close the jaws and check die set alignment and contact areas.When everything looks great secure the thumb screws.My finger tips were not strong enough to secure the dies. (I detected a little die movement)I used a screw driver to VERY GENTLY SNUG the slotted screws a HAIR and NO MORE.With practice my crimp connections are looking much better.Basically get a feel for the tool design and experiment a little to get the results you desire.

Perfect crimp every time. I work in aviation and my co-workers and bosses have asked me to not use the typical "automotive" style terminal crimper. Bought these and one of them asked where I got the tool from. I'll take them asking that as "you got the right tool". If you think you need them get them. Worth every penny.

Can be a little finicky with some terminals, but I believe that may just be part of the learning curve as I transition from the old pliers style crimpers.

I think that this is a great tool. I work some guys that spent three + times more than this on the same type of item. They do not work any better than this. I highly recomend.
