Pretty straight forward to rig up. Look great in my rx8. Accurate readings and great functional mod for your car! Ordered an oil psi gauge as well

The gages are clear and accurate, when my old one died out, it was just the right thing to do by replacing it with the same one.

Great gauge. A little slower activation than the older models but very easy to hook up and the temp sender is very compact.

UPDATED. this now works intermittently. It ceased function after about 5k miles. It now works "sometimes"._--------------------+I have this installed into my '94 Mazda Rx-7 FD. I have it installed in the Prosport triple Gauge Pod that Prosport tso thoughtfully produced for Rx-7 owners. In the pod I have an Innovate AFR gauge, a Defi D-Gauge mechanical boost gauge I bought years ago and the Prosport water temp gauge. The gauge is bright, highly visible and offers a bit of a modern look with its LED illumination. The gauge is seemingly accurate and does its job as it should. It is a must for many performance vehicles where you may want to know how hot the water temp is, not just where it is on the stock gauge. I found my FD runs at about 190 with a Koyo N flow on a humid 87 degree day in MN. Very good to know as the stock gauge is practically a "COLD" and "REPLACE ENGINE" indicator in an FD. Easily worth the price of any accurate water temp gauge. As for the Install, it comes with the probe and a nice detachable harness for the gauge. You will need wire, crimp on connectors or wire nuts, or if like me, A solder setup with heat shrink tubing. I paired this gauge with a Mishimoto MMWHS-38-BK Black 38mm Water Temperature Sensor Adapter installed in the upper radiator hose. Either the probe or adapter had bad threads and made the install tough, but with some lube and muscle I got the probe fully seated. I then installed the gauge for white day use and amber night. This was easy and I simply connected the red and white wire to the 12v ACC source and then the orange wire to the lights on source I had in place for my other gauges. The hardest part was just the wiring and getting under the dash. I zip tied the harness together and fished it through the dash. On a test it did great and is in a good spot for temp monitoring. The only negatives I see on this is that the gauge is a bit noisy and the shroud options are poor. It is my first stepper motor gauge, as my boost gauge is mechanical, so this may be so for all electrical gauges. Either way, I notice it when I prepare to start the car. The shroud actually cover 160-220 marks on the gauge from the drivers seat. I used the black cowl it comes with as it matches my black gauges better. If I were to remove the cowl, it may be better but would expose the silver rim making my gauges look like even more of a mix & match. These are the only issues O have encountered. Pros port products seem to be worth more than the price, and I have actually considered removing my Defi D-Gauge to match with a Prosport boost gauge. They have a prescence and/or good reputation on both the RX-7 and Lan Evo communities. At this price, it an easy choice. So long as the gauge is accurate, then my engine is safe from risking an overheat. I will be putting Prosport gauges in my Evo X next.
