My pattern included from size 14 to 22 which I hope will work for you; it is a very easy pattern to follow in whichever size you need and you only need to cut on the relevant line for your size; I used size 16 and am pleased with the result: a lovely pair of linen palazzo pants.

I think it’s to do with the size options. If you scroll down to product details, the cheaper option shows the smaller sizes - H5. The second option shows the larger sizes - R5. Simplicity patterns usually give you the two choices - H5 and R5. Bit confusing on Amazon though. Hope this helps.

So the sizing of the patterns don’t really lend themselves to your dress sizing from the shops. To find out what size will fit you best, you need to measure yourself in the waist and hips. Then work out what size you need to make from those measurement to the back of the pattern. I have found for myself that my size to the pattern is always 1or 2 dress sizes larger than I wear from shop clothing. For eg. If my waist is 32inches and my hip is 42inches then I will be making the size 18 pattern. Also if you work in cms then the other side of the back is in French but is cm sizing. Hope this helps.

No carpet, you get the sewing pattern...well I did. A carpet might have been nice...but how would they know the size of the room I wanted carpeting? Anyway you get the sewing pattern ! Hope that's confusingly helpful x
