This scale will read your weight and nothing more but okay with me. This was a lighter weight scale than I expected but okay with me. It can slide on the tiles getting on or off if you're the clumsy type and it advises not to use it on carpeting. There is an easily accessible button dial to adjust the pointer to zero before using. I cannot attest to its accuracy as I have not been weighed anywhere else (not counting the digital scale I returned due to never getting the same weight twice in a row). I did receive the exact same readings on this one after repeat weigh-ins. I am a runt, but it looks like there is plenty of foot space for larger people. The dial was easy enough to read with my glasses on. Sunbeam was a well-trusted brand name in the past. Things change, but I'm hopeful that the quality chugs on. The price was very reasonable by comparison to others.

I purchased this specific scale because it did not require batteries. I AM FREE! It’s the Sunbeam brand that I trust. It has a full window of easy-to-read numbers. The small dial in front, and underneath the scale makes it easy to calibrate. All of these aspects are fantastic and environmentally friendly.Backstory: A few weeks ago I had purchased a simple digital scale at BB&B. It wasn’t until I was home and researched info about the scale that I discovered that the battery could not be replaced. Darn, I thought, but at least I’ll use the digital scale for a number of years, and then switch to an analog one that does not need batteries. Well, I used the digital scale once daily for about 2 weeks, and a darn code came up indicating that the battery was low! I had to return the wasteful product. The store didn’t offer any great analog solutions for me.I haven’t had this new Sunbeam scale long, but I am extremely happy so far. I choose this model based on the positive reviews. This Sunbeam model didn’t appear in my initial search of “analog bathroom scales,” on Amazon. I remembered that my parents have a decades-old Sunbeam scale, so I added “Sunbeam” in my search, and this scale happily popped up!

I'm 5 foot 6 inches tall, age 60. The dial is too small for me to read with any precision. I can basically only tell my weight within about 5 pounds.

I needed a scale to weigh pallets to move cross country but didn't have the $1800.00 bucks to by one.It is a sad commentary that these are ordinary bathroom scales that go up to 330 pounds.Only in America. I can't really harp. I am an American that tips the scales a bit more abundantly than I should. But, all in all good news for me. I bought four of these scales. I can now weigh pallets up to 1320 pounds.I have used these to weigh cargo up to 1125 pounds and haven't destroyed any of the scales yet.I am very pleased with them. Well done Sunbeam.

I thought because it was Sunbeam, a legit brand name, that I would get a good scale, and I've never really gotten a bad scale before, but they proved me wrong. this is some bowl%$#@ here!You breathe on it wrong, and you have to recalibrate it.It feels cheap, and it's too expensive to be this cheap!It's just not worth a damn.

My boyfriend and I got sick of our digital scale giving a different reading (by several pounds!) each time we stepped on it, even though the readings were just seconds apart. We decided to try an old-fashioned scale. This thing is perfect! It's very light and is easy to read. The heavy black lines are in 10 pound increments so even though it can be hard to see the EXACT number, it's easy enough to be fairly accurate within a pound or two. I also love that it doesn't have batteries. A total win!
