This leather "chain" was exactly as I expected. I got this to carry ID, so it's not holding a lot of weight, and not put under much tension or stress.I ordered 26" length, and this is essentially spot on - maybe an 1/8th inch longer.The clasp works easily, and seems secure enough for my needs - no worries. The "chain" itself seems strong enough for my needs. Overall, it seems to be well made - good quality.I got a black "chain" with a black clasp. It looks great. I like the quality weave of the leather in the "chain".I was concerned that the leather might be stiff and uncomfortable, but it's not. It's great. The "chain" is very soft and supple / flexible, almost more so than paracord. It's very comfortable against my neck. This flexibility also makes it adaptable to a variety of uses / functionality - again, almost like paracord.

It's sleek, it doesn't irritate my neck and is strong. I absolutely love it. The clasp is easy to use, no fusing over finding it or clicking it in. Slides in smoothly. The length is perfect, exactly what I wanted.

Love the leather chains and their sleek latching system. Really, there is what seems to be an infinite number of possibilities when you consider the length, leather color, clasp color, and thickness of the leather. Pay attention to all of those choices when ordering! It is easy to screw up your order selection. Price is on point for the quality.

This necklace is exactly as promised. I wear it with some large wire wrapped pendants I picked up at a craft show. I chose the black option. Its comfortable, matches everything, is arthritis friendly to open and close the clasp, and does exactly all the necklace things I need. For nearly $20, I would be rather upset if it didnt. I am pleased with my purchase, and I would recommend this to anyone who needs a very versatile and sturdy necklace for heavier pendants.

I love this! I have a beautiful emerald broach that came from the Atocia shipwreck and was struggling on how to wear it. The black leather compliments the broach as it is gold with the effects of being in the ocean for so long, that a gold chain just clashed with this. I wear it with a black shirt or dress and it stands out beautifully! It seems good quality and it is easy for me to clasp.

It's nice, simple, easy to clasp on own, has various sizes, and so far seems sturdy. I have a couple necklaces that I wear practically all the time, one being this.I was a little concerned about the clasp at first, wondering if it'd become loose or easily detach but nope, it's held up well. And the clasp style makes it easy to undo by yourself or if you have big or clumsy fingers. I just pull mine off over my head, but I like the clasp a lot for when I do undo it.It's not too thick to be clunky or too thin to fear it's durability. Nice and simple, just how I like.

I had this for a few months now, and sadly, it has met an ignoble end.Now the cord is quite durable, although it is obviously dyed, so washing it is a necessary to get the loose dye out, or you end up with a nice brown line around your neck. It's really hard to tangle this, so you'll have no issue with this, unless you purposely knot it up.The clasp is a rather interesting design, and also quite nice... but ... it doesn't let some smaller men's items from being added to the cord. It's just too big. I tried to put my favorite little charm on it, and the clasp just... wouldn't let it on, and I didn't want to destroy my charm trying to do so.Functionally, it adds to the manliness. +2 to Manliness.Versatility? The cord being as tough as it is, makes it a good use for a tourniquet and other things.Sadly, it's durability ends when the glue attaching the cord to the clasp comes undone, and trying to fix it is just a whole messy affair. So sadly, I had to retire this to my trash bin, and now I need to find a new cord/necklace for my favorite charm.
