Worked as described but not without re-using part of the old Dyson filter.
Worked well but beware the tall filter does not come with the plastic top. You will need to carefully remove the plastic top from the tall filter to putt the other one on. The Dyson version comes with this piece so I had to drop it 1 star but they work well other than that. If you break the plastic you will need to get a replacement from Dyson.

This worked in my Dyson V8 and was easy to install. The only thing I didn’t like is that the purple plastic isn’t transluscent like the original Dyson filters. It’s just a cosmetic thing, though.

Perfect replacement!
My Dyson filter cap cracked after I tried taking it out to clean. For a while I was suffering with faulty vacuum. This is exactly the part. Slid in easily to the unit, came quickly, works perfectly. It also looks exactly like the original part. I have my vacuum back!
