I like that this kit is inexpensive and includes not only five of the values I use the most, but five different colors of knobs AND a set of trimmer pots, which I recently developed a need for. The price is quite nice considering the extras that come with this set. I will probably be buying another of these sets soon.

I would buy again if the need comes again.

I like this product a lot! It's a great price to get a stock of different pots, and the parts to hook them up to a housing and the dial covers are really neat too

I got the one with the aluminum knobs. The knobs are nice, and most of the pots are perfectly in spec. So far the worst was only -10% of rated resistance. I am actually surprised for the cost.

For the price, this kit is pretty good. There is a nice assortment of common values. The accuracy of the resistance of several pots I tested is acceptable. Mechanical feel is decent, but time will tell if the wipers remain noise-free with repeated adjustments. It is nice to have decent looking matching knobs provided. It would have been nice if there were a few more pieces of the trim pots provided in the kitSomething I didn’t test was the ability to withstand high voltage without having the wiper arc over to the adjustment shaft. For transistor projects at tens of volts, that isn’t likely an issue. If you’re using these pots in a vacuum tube project where plate voltage is applied to the resistance element, I’d recommend bench testing to be sure there’s no leakage or arcing before using in a project.
