Pretty solid product. Easy to install and great design. Connections are good and solid. Plastic housing protects you from getting shocked. Universal fit. Plastic seems a little cheap and brittle.

I like design with the partition between posts. The top nuts that hold cover tight with no wires attached. I was worried if the cover would be loose with just two thin lugs on each post.The picture shows 1 post with red on top of post and 1 post with black on top of post. No color on top of post.I am using this to connect two #8 wires from battery in back of boat to the two leads coming off my Noco battery charger in middle of boat.

Keep it lasting a long time
These work perfect for what they intended. I used them to bring a few different battery rings together from different devices and they do find for that. They say it can handle up to 150 Amps, and I have only ever pumped just over a hundred amps through it and it never even got warm so the metal is the correct thickness to handle 150 amps likely.Here are some pro-tips to keep them good as new!1. If you are an environment that is subject to salt, or direct sunlight or both, add some Armor All or 303 protectant to the plastic to keep it from cracking and having to replace it in a year or two. Make sure to do this on the base and the cover both.2. Always treat the studs themselves with Battery Terminal Protector Spray (any kind is good). I am not sure of the metal being used on these and they could have corrosion possibly, I am not sure because I treated everything with anti corrosive spray and haven't had a problem.3. Do not overtighten because the torquing can cause the busbar plastic to crack near the screws (don't ask how I know).I hope this helps!!!!!!
