Iso Option Perms - Option 3

I tried 3 different perm brands within a year and they all failed, even though they all worked in the past. The first one caused severe hair breakage (the seller disappeared from amazon after my order), the other two didn't curl at all. When I bought Option 3 I wasn't sure if it would work, but it did beautifully! So happy with this brand and this seller that I ordered a few more right away just to ensure I get them from the same batch that worked for me.If you have tried Texture EFX Normal & Resistant Perm or Ogilvie Precisely Right Perm and they didn't work for you, this product may worth a try.

The boxes came a small amount beaten up but this is the only perm that works and holds for my hair. HIGHLY recommend to anyone in need of box perms. 10/10

I’ve used this perm for a many years. I buy it and ask the beautician to use this instead of what she would have used. My last perm I forgot to order this and had to use her brand. It was a definite difference in the firmness of curl and length of time it stayed in my hair.

I am thrilled that I decided to give this product a chance! I had been using another product but my hair wasn't taking the curl so I gave this a try. I am really really happy with the results...my hair is curly again.

I’ve used this product for years, both on myself and friends who want a perm. The past few times the product has not worked. I don’t know if this is due to seller error or product error/change. Either way, I will be finding a different company to do perms as this one is not holding a curl like it used to.As well, just a heads up for any dark hair brunettes—this product will very much lighten your hair if you use it twice or more on the same hair. Ex: my hair is a very dark brown. The first time I use the product, my hair remains the same color. A few months later when I go to re-perm it (for the straight roots), the hair color gets significantly lighter. Not ideal.In short, I will be looking for a new perm solution after many years of relying on iso perm option 3.

I have very VERY fine hair, which is very resilient and has zero volume; have to be extremely careful when it comes to any kind of treatments. I really wanted volume with some curl and minimum damage. This perm did not produce any curl for me, however it did give me volume and DID NOT BURN MY HAIR!!!!! I got 2 out of 3! Very excited! Definitely will be using it again!

It works but leaves my hair damaged and frizzy. I don't know what I did wrong....FYI,I used 1.87 cm rod in case perms don't come out. I think larger rods such as 2.2 cm would bring better results with more natural looking and less frizzy.Also my choice of the product, option 3, could have been wrong. Next time I will try either option1 or 2 and leave the lotion shorter like 10 mins instead of 20 min as instructed.Lastly, I struggled with the pre-wrapping solution. The portion is very little and it is not easy to apply. I've used up all the portion even for top and bang hairs only. I wish there were better instructions on how to apply the solution..... I am guessing "a spray" may be helpful for consistent and even application??Overall, I think the product itself is good. But it would have been much better if detailed instructions were available. It is not easy to use for desired results.
