After a spontaneous trip to Costco for towels turned into an unexpected TV purchase, I found myself on the hunt for a sturdy alternative to wall mounting my new 55” TV. I wanted something that wouldn’t require a bulky tv stand that blocked our beautiful view of our backyard/pond but still provided solid support.After extensive research, I opted for this heavy-duty TV stand. First off, the assembly was a breeze—everything came included, with even a few extra parts just in case. I was pleasantly surprised by how straightforward the process was, easing my worries about missing components.The stand itself is impressively solid and well-constructed, easily supporting the 35-40 lbs of our TV. I got this to raise up my mother's TV from a lower TV stand.This thing works great. Not only does it raise the viewing level for a 50" pretty high, the weight of the bottom piece makes it very sturdy as well.Some plusses: The height for a 50" TV when mounted puts the top at around 5.5'. The weight of the bottom piece and the materials for the stand itself keep it from leaning forward. The brackets for mounting the television itself were easy to assemble and mount to the TV.Mounting the TV itself onto the stand can be awkward depending on the weight.

It’s nice. I love how it looks. Easy to assemble. Probably not suitable for a 65” tv. It says it could and holds up to 88lbs, but it’s slightly slanted forward and kinda wobbly. 🫤

The media could not be loaded. I actually love this mount so far. I bought it in June 2024, and received just after June 7 or close to that date. I put the entire mount together by myself (I was 74, at the time; it was heavy but I was able to manage it) and then I mounted the television, added the Apple TV and the cover to keep it dry outside. We recently downsized from our home of 41 years where this same television was used in a guest room. I had a much larger 50” tv mounted on the wall of our side porch but the Atrium here doesn’t lend itself to such a large television. My husband and I watch the Phillies all summer long outside. This mount has now been through some major storms. It has never moved an inch. There is no roof above the location where I have placed the mount and the wall to the left is a half wall open to the elements on that side. So this mount has had exposure and it has withstood it all. Could not be happpier with this product.

Very sturdy and holds TV firmly

This TV stand was a pleasant surprise. It was easy to put together, and the materials are good quality. The base sits flat to the ground and its weight provides a sturdy foundation. This stand does not tilt allow the TV to tilt forward, but the left-right swivel feature is nice. I wanted to put a TV at the base of my bed and did not want to mount on the wall, so this stand not only saved space but also kept me from having to use a difficult wall mount. I mounted a 50 inch Vizio with no issues. So far, I love it and it meets my needs.
