I'm very impressed with the assortment provided for sketching and drawing. I like that all the graphite pencils are included as well as white and black charcoal and charcoal sticks are especially pleasing. I am very glad that sandpaper and a variety of blending stumps are included. Makes a great value. The included sketch pad is also nice and comes in 3 colors: white, black, and tan.I'd say the quality of the items themselves is pretty nice. This a very giftable item and great for any art student or beginning artist.The only thing I'd say to improve is the interior design is a bit flimsy (the straps started fraying after day 2 of using it), and the kneaded eraser cannot fit back into it's elastic area once it's been opened and kneaded. If there were a pouch or pocket on the OUTSIDE that could hold the kneaded erasers, that would be ideal. I also feel like pencils will start falling out of their elastic holder if jostled or small - so once again an pocket or multiple pockets would be idea.I also think the knife for sharpening pencils is shoddy and I'm buying a new one right away that is sharper.Overall, glad I made this purchase and it is a great selection of materials.

This is a super nice kit for beginners and seasoned artists alike. I've drawn for years and had stopped. I bought this kit to get started again, and it's really nice having everything I need in one compact compartment. The product quality is amazing. Highly recommend.

I’m by no means a professional, (I just barely qualify as an amateur) but this is a great set. The case is very sturdy with a tight zipper and enough room inside to easily hold the drawing pad it comes with. It has hard sides covered with a heavy duty cloth that is easy to clean. The kit has everything you can think of and some things that you didn’t consider. It’s compact and relatively light weight and comes with a wrist strap, so it’s perfect for travel or taking it on a nature walk. I love it!

Got this for my 11 year old who is just getting into sketching. He says there’s nothing he doesn’t like about it. Everything looks great in it and there’s so many tools. The value is great when you’re getting this much stuff for pretty cheap. My only complaint is that I wish the sketch pad was a bit bigger.

great quality set - comes with everything you need for sketching. the packaging is designed really well, all the pencils are sharpened and everything inside has a functional use. not too big or bulky to carry around either

I signed my daughter up for an online sketching class, and bought her this kit of supplies to help her feel ready and excited for the class. It was perfect! My daughter was so excited when it came and it looked and felt so impressive and professional. She easily carried it around everywhere she went in the days before class! When she started class and showed her teacher, even the teacher was impressed with what the kit looked like! There was everything that she needed and way more.If you buy, I also recommend getting some of those extra pencil erasers that you can put on top of a pencil for easier erasing (my daughter automatically turns the pencils over and wants to erase with them, but these pencils don't have erasers on top). The only thing extra that we had to grab on the supplies list for the class was Q-tips or tissue paper to help for shading (which she hasn't even used yet). I highly recommend!
