It really stands out! That was the point with me being not-elderly and people staring anyways. I had surgery and needed a cane after i ditched my walker. What's good about a distinctly different cane is that nobody can walk off with it because it doesn't look like other people's. You can't lose it--it's a bright medium pink. The handle is a really nice comfy grip and doesn't hurt to lean on. One reviewer started that the cane doesn't CLICK as you walk, and that's what she loved best; i have to wholeheartedly agree with her. I'm pretty sure i would get this again. The folding bit is great also and the little rigid band that you slide onto the cane to keep it folded can be easy to misplace--so i would recommend getting in the habit of keeping it in your handbag for when you're out. Unless you never fold it, that is. I bought a large gripper base for this for extra stability until I'm steadier. I figured if you've got it, flaunt it! I love this thing and don't regret a penny. The comfort alone is worth it and it's not even much money. The handle's silicone grip also helps to keep it from sliding when you rest it against the wall or hook it on a table. That is really helpful when you can't bend over to pick it up itlf it fell over.

Work good. Not as slippery as some . I like that they help to make stand up by itself but do big that you step on them

I'm VERY pleased with this cane tip. Had I known about its availability before I spent $45 or so on a well known brand billed as tip proof & collapsible (especially since I had a spare I didn't use) I would have bought this first. I struggled and maneuvered the old tip off my ordinary cane and worked hard adding the new cane tip. I twisted and stomped the new one on long and hard until I felt secure it was firmly attached. I love it. The tip is a little larger than the name brands but not so large that I have to be careful not to trip over it (ie. claw tip.) It makes my old cane slightly heavier so this may be an issue for some. It doesn't fold up. I don't know how it would work in a small car or in a row of seated people passing by. Realizing there is virtually nothing perfect this is close enough for my purposes. One last thing: I spent a little extra cash for the pink tip. If I must use a cane I may as well have something cheery to look at!

I needed my cane to stand on its own. Retrieving falling canes with a broken foot kinda defeats the healing process! Been there before! I do not recommend the kind that looks like a four-legged spider. It just gives you something else to catch your foot on and trip you. So the flat 4-sided rubber tips are my pref. But when I saw that you can get an even MORE stable 6-sided tip, I was on it. And to find it in hot pink was awesome as it matched my green and pink flamingo cane. (Why look boring?) One caveat is that more surface area means more for your toe to catch on. I never felt I was going to trip (see above), but I had to take a little precaution. If you're walking with your cane correctly--to the side of you, not in front --you should be fine. But I did want to mention this for those who might be weaker or having balance issues. In that case, get the 4-sided type.

I converted all of my canes to this type of cane tip. It is sturdy and allows for a little flexibility when walking. The best part is that the cane stays standing, especially when I am at a restaurant or buffet.
