I was so surprised by the granular's in the jar of this product. Every day for lunch I have bone broth and I added this to the broth to see what would happen and to my surprise it thickens the cold broth into a almost gravy texture. I read on the label and looked at all the comments nowhere has it been said that it thickens. It has a great taste to an 8 ounce glass of cold bone broth and we add a teaspoon and a half for the results. Great product thank you I gave it three stars on value for money because two days later I found the same product in the dollar store and as you know that beats the price here on Amazon. I forgot to mention I drink broth cold because in Arizona I find it too hot to drink in hot weather.

The product itself is great. I bought it because I was told that I couldn't find it locally. However, after receiving it I happened to take a stroll down the "Ethnic Cuisine" aisle at my local Kroger and found a much larger size container of this exact same bouillon that was much more inexpensive than the price from Amazon. Also, the expiration date on the one ordered from Amazon was much sooner than the one found in store - meaning I was shipped some old product that was laying around for a while.As stated, product was great, but I was not too happy with the value of buying it from Amazon.
