Works great at pulling water in my small apartment. I placed it in the closet, bathroom, bedroom and kitchen. It takes about 2-3 days to see the water. The smell isn’t strong at all. It helps the room feel less humid and musty.

DampRid works great in my bathroom and the adjoining closet, keeping both areas less muggy and dry. Love the light lavender scent - it’s fresh without being overpowering.

This is my go to for my basement. It truly works. I like that it’s no fuss you just hang it and go about your day. It’s very durable and traps the moisture well. Definitely worth the price. If you have a small space that has moisture this will do the trick.

I used the DampRid Lavender Vanilla Hanging Moisture Absorber in my bathroom where the fan broke, and it did a great job collecting moisture and reducing the damp. It really helped dehumidify the air and prevent mold buildup, which was a relief.However, despite the “Lavender Vanilla” name, I didn’t notice any fragrance at all. I was hoping for a subtle scent to make the space smell nicer, but it was pretty much scent-free. If you’re mainly looking for moisture control, this product works well. Just don’t expect a strong fragrance.Overall, very effective and worth it for moisture absorption!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:For ease of use. You can just hang it up and forget it.Efficiency:Very efficient. You can quickly check on it to see when you have to change and put a new one up. It does collect a good amount of water. Therefore you will never get a musty, moldy smell in those household areas that don't get a good air exchange. I use them in closets. Also, hang one up in a car that I don't use that often.

This product is completely amazing, it has taken the moisture out of my closet and I no longer get mold and my clothes no longer smell. This product works, and it works well. I so recommend this product to people who have too much moisture and mildew in their homes. You must get this.

Decided to take the plunge and try these, so glad I did! Our bathroom does not have a window so with the hot showers it gets really musty in there. I hung one of these up on the inside of the bathroom door and within hours the smell was gone. It's been up for about a week now and is only 1/8th full of water so I think they will be a good value. There is no "set up", you take one out and hang it up. Job done. Then just keep an eye on the water accumulation in the clear pouch to know where to throw it out. Wish I would have tried these sooner!

Bought this 3x - every month. I put one inside my son’s closet because the heat from his wall is making his closet smells bad. I put the other two inside our restroom and I’m telling you!! This is so effective. It doesn’t just absorb the wetness but the fouling smell too. I tried the one on the container but it’s not effective.
