The BIG Picture
Now I know this is really an entry level ust laser projector but I was still hoping for perfection.Firstly ease of use 5 out of 5, Std 1080p or 4k videos look outstanding really great viewing experience. The only negative is viewing HDR videos that have a lot of dark scenes, think Matrix, John Wick, sometimes the blacks get all washed together and details get lost, colors don't look quite so vibrant either All in all though a good ust laser projector worth considering, just be aware for what you want to watch on it.

Disappointing
I really wanted to like this. The picture quality is good, the brightness is a massive improvement to my previous projector, but the positives end there sadly. The remote:Possibly the worst implementation of a remote control in the history of remote controlled things. It just doesn't work. I sent the first one back as I thought it was faulty. The replacement was just as bad. Pointing it directly at the projector, not moving one micron, it still fails to register 8/10 button presses. It took around 40 mins to complete the initial setup and enter the WiFi password as the direction buttons just fail to register most of the time.Built in apps:I expected these to be bad, but not unusable. Admittedly you would want to use a streaming stick or media centre as apps on projectors are notoriously poor. However these are unusable. If you mange to download Netflix and by some miracle navigate the login screen and enter your credentials the remote control stops responding. Nothing works. There is a phone app which you can use to cast the screen and this seems to be the only way to control the apps. This only works if you can put up with the 5 second lag between the phone and projector though.Reliability:Within the first week of using it I was seeing occasional ghosting or burn in on the screen. This would persist through numerous programmes but was resolved by clicking the home button and then selecting the HDMI output again.I've also had it shutdown due to a fan error.Consequently I'm sending this back and cannot recommend it.

Not worth It
This projector seemed convenient for those constantly changing countries, intended as a portable media player to carry from place to place. For my husband and me, picture quality matters more than size. Unfortunately, our first experience with this projector was disappointing. TVs, even at one-third the price, still deliver much more vibrant and contrasted images. The lack of good black and insufficient sharpness, even after adjustments, became critical drawbacks. We didn't opt for a screen for this projector as good screens cost almost as much as the projector itself, and it still wouldn't have solved our issues. It seemed easier to just get a tv
