Bodyprox Ankle Support Brace, Breathable Neoprene Sleeve, Adjustable Wrap!

I've had this support a few months and have worn it on and off when my ankle is causing me most pain. My ankle has internal scar tissue that impinges and causes swelling, particularly after after walking on uneven ground - even wearing walking boots. When it gets bad, sitting for long periods (for my job), causes swelling that exacerbates the pain.At the suggestion of a consultant I tried a number of supports, including lace-up ones, but the others I tried just made the pain worse when walking. This ankle support provides enough compression and a moderate amount of support which does seem to help keep the swelling down. It's comfortable enough to wear for long periods and not so bulky that it can't be worn inside boots or shoes. It's got no rigid lateral inserts, so is not going to prevent ankle inversion, but it's not claiming to be that type of support. For that, something like an Aircast A60 or Thuasne Malleo Dynastab (neither of which I've tried) would be more suitable).As for longevity, at some point it will need replacing, but that's just the nature of the contruction - there's only so much wear that stitched fabric tensioned by elastic straps can take. It seems to be well made with reasonable materials, and at this price point offers good value for money. You could easily pay the same (around £10) for a slip-on neoprene support with no adjustment.Everyone's ankle (and injury) is different so what suits me might not suit you, but overall, I'm pretty pleased with this.

The brace provides great ankle support and enabled me to get back walking after spraining my ankle pretty quickly.Overall it has lasted with quite a lot of heavy use although the straps that wrap around the foot are starting to wear slightly. Although that's probably to be expected after using it quite heavily.Comfort wise it is decent, although if worn for long periods it can start to get a bit uncomfortable.

quick delivery. Good fit. Really comfortable and great support for me when walking. Could where all my shoes and socks over it without any problems. Would recommend.

Support is reasonable but would be much better if it stretched higher up the leg. I can’t recommend for a UK size 12 I would say at max a size UK10. Also unnecessarily thick material so some shoes don’t fit well or rub.Purchased an alternative sock based design with 2 straps and it worked much better for me.

Great product. So flexible and easy to use. easy to adjust and take on or off. I get swollen feet and this was brilliant for the days my feet were a bit more swollen.

I badly injured my left ankle in my Army days, and it's never healed fully. This provides great lateral support, and enables me to make further inversions unlikely when not wearing boots. BUT, and this is the crux, it needs to be tight, and I can only wear it so long without causing pain and a lack of circulation.It's not the ultimate solution (for me, anyway!)

Great support for my weak ankle, especially following my knee replacement. Not overly bulky so extremely comfortable to wear.
