My doctor strongly recommended this ointment! I'm extremely glad I listened. I had surgery to remove a bony prominence that was right above my ankle bone. It gave me some issues, inflammation being a major one. My ankle stayed swollen. Walking was difficult sometimes and the pain was becoming unbearable. My doctor shaved it down and we don't have to worry about any bone fragments cutting my tendon. Anyway, the ointment really helps the healing process. I will have some scarring but it won't look that bad. It is a great ointment.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:As far as travel size and having something similar to Vaseline, this is really come along way. Fliptop is great even for those with joint issues as it is easy for open and close. This is easy to use love the fliptop lid. However do not leave this in a car or in a bag in the trunk during hot days. With the fliptop lid it will leak out and cause a mess. I absolutely love this item and I have one in my bag, one by my bedside, one in my bathroom, but no longer in the car. This really is a great product so if you have one to go in the car make sure you get the one with the twist on lid without a fliptop. Once upon a time I actually used to keep a little tiny jar of Vaseline in my bag with me. Ha ha

This is a good item to have at home in your first aid kit. We use it for dry skin and also for minor scrapes. I apply it at night when my lips are really dry. This provides your skin with a high moisture level that won’t disappoint. This will get on your clothes it pillow if you put too much.Great value for your money and will help heal wounds without a ton of chemicals added. This stays in your skin for a long time so only need to use it 2 times a day. Large tube of this will last a long time.

This stuff is great for bruises. I got a large bruise from a boating accident. I bruise easy and they take forever to go away. Friends recommended this and it has been a game changer for me! Its also great for dry cracked heels. Very thick tho so do not expect it to absorb into your skin quickly.

This is very expensive and has gone up almost doubled in price. But it's a great cream/ointment. Any scratch you have it makes it heal twice as fast. It can treat any scrape i have and burns or chafing. I always have some in reach.
