Very good Bluetooth keyboard
Works very well as a Bluetooth keyboard. The the best actual key in the world but given the price it is rather good and works very well in Bluetooth mode which not many keyboard do

Fantastic.
Long review short. I play many instruments. Guitar, piano, keyboard, ukulele, banjo, kazoo, harmonica and violin. Bluetooth this to your iPad using GarageBand and have fun. Recommend! Easy to use. Was a bargain when I got it. Keys are a bit stiff but nothing to worry about. It has to be built well. Hacker_moon for a video on TT.

(un)pluig and play with Akai Force
Bought this as a bit of an experiment to run with my Akai force. As soon as I switched it on it displayed as a bluetooth device, and I could connect right away!Starting with limitations - the manual is very brief and doesn't appear to cover syncing to an external midi clock over bluetooth, despite my Akai Force sending this no problems over wired connections. the toggle is highly sensitive, and the endless encoders not sensitive enough. Unfortunately after mapping drums to the pads, I found these cannot be looped on-board either. I would have also liked it to take an expression pedal as well of or rather than sustain. The midi out being a 3.5mm jack means I also need to figure that out rather than sticking with the more user friendly 5-pin.That being said, this thing is an absolute asset to my setup for the price. Fully portable, the touch sensitive keys have natural volume, the on-board arpeggiator with octaves is greate for adding layers (assuming I can set the correct BPM first) and standalone, the on-board loop function is a very nice touch and very intuitive. Coding the pads was simple, as was resetting them back to their original values.I will certainly have some fun with this device!

OK but Bluetooth doesn’t work
Works fine with USB connection but Bluetooth doesn’t work on a mac (I’ve tried an iMac and MacBook) which is a shame, as otherwise it’s very responsive and a decent little midi controller for the price of it- The USP for this was Bluetooth though, especially if you want to use it on the go.

Not easy to setup with DAWs
Not good found it hard to marry up to software after trying several DAWs i returned it.

25 KEY feels BETTER than an AKAI, READ FOR LOGIC INSTALLATION!
I bought this keyboard to replace my AKAI mini with Bluetooth, since I use my ports and I don't want a crazy dongle. It's functionally the same as the AKAI providing you don't want a load of free software and nobody uses the arpeggiator do they? Anyway the keys are better feeling, I didn't like the AKAI keys at all.SETUPI got caught out at first, DO NOT use the traditional Bluetooth hookup on Mac. Search in Logic Help for Bluetooth MIDI and follow the instructions. It's simple and straightforward. What can I say, other than it's exactly what I wanted and works a treat. Half the price of an AKAI without the nasty USB-B printer socket. This baby is USB-C rechargeable, plus the colour complements a space grey MacBook nicely.

Superb little Midi keyboard which NEEDS Location (GPS) switched on, as well as BT!
Can't fault the price for starters but it's a solid little keyboard and will work with just about any midi capable app or DAW...I'm using Android equipment only at the moment and this wee keyboard was a very welcome addition!Initially I thought it was no good, due to it dropping the MIDI connection over Bluetooth very often...The manual is perhaps not the best but it does state it somewhere in there. My "D'oh" moment came and went and no issues since, once I remembered to switch on GPS (Location) on my phones & tablet when using it over Bluetooth! On the other hand I found that once I attached a separately purchased small OTG USB to USB-C adapter to the supplied USB cable, I can both charge and use the USB cable for Hardwired MIDI without any issues!Again, that extra bit of kit wouldn't be necessary unless you use stuff like DAWs etc. on Android based hardware...So I'm a very happy camper!

Pretty good at this price.
For the price this does exactly what I required it for, an inexpensive keyboard that I can hook up to my phone to pair up with Cubasis.Whilst Bluetooth functionality won't work with Cubasis mobile (not the fault of Rockjam I think, Bluetooth is just not supported) it works perfectly with a wired connection into the phone. Quality is okay, you shouldn't expect bleeding edge performance at this price point. It does what it says it does and I'm happy enough with that.Recommended for the budget conscious who just wants something unfussy that does the job.
