Superior to the other two main security system brands: Ring/Blink.
Out performs Ring and Blink due to no subscription needed and has built in storage that lasts for months without needing to format. Optional to buy home-base for additional storage and better AI detection. Easy to access via app to adjust camera settings and download footage. App and camera operate smoothly without glitch or hesitation. Good quality build and solar panel works well to the point it has never dropped past 70% even during constant motion detection throughout the day. Automatically connects to WiFi without needing to touch the camera if you are one to turn off your WiFi periodically. Motion detections works well but might need an additional camera to motion detect distances exceeding 25 feet from this device. Motion detection has not failed. AI tracking works phenomenal. Are able to manually rotate camera via app which works well without delay. Clarity/zoom and night vision is superior to Would purchase several of these specific cameras throughout house and property with home-base for superior protection over any other competitive brand out there.

Love This Camera!!
I needed a security camera that would have a view of my driveway as well as my property. This Eufy camera fits the bill. They give you everything you need to set up the camera. You have a choice of mounting the solar panel separately or on top of the camera. I chose to mount it on top of the camera. The set up to the internet was quick and flawless. As per the instructions I fully charged the camera before it was mounted. I purchased a metal ring that tightens with a screw and was able to weave it through the plastic mount provided. I had to mount the camera on a 2x4 that was there from my previous camera. It mounted with ease. The camera lets you know when a vehicle or person enters your property. It follows you as you go past. It records the events and notifies you when it detects something. The camera can be adjusted to your specific needs. The camera also lets you know that it is fully charged so you know the solar panel is working. The night vision is clear and concise. The microphone is sensitive enough to pick up bird and bug sounds. It is easy to remove by pinching the side clips together. I am pleased with this purchase. I would not hesitate to buy another one if I needed it. I highly recommend this camera for ease of use and quality. It is an economical way to secure your property and give you peace of mind.

BUY THIS - NOT THE RING CAMERA
I am a single woman living alone in an area that isn’t great. The peace of mind, better sleep, and overall quality of living this camera has offered me is worth every penny. My only regret is that I didn’t buy this sooner and instead purchased the Ring, which was a nightmare. Be warned if you’re comparing between the two: the Ring app is convoluted with social media features, including reels. I was bombarded with city-wide notifications from other users. It also forced me to enter my home address to utilize the security camera (Eufy does NOT do this!) without disclosing I would also be signing up for local updates from other users (including posts about their dogs that their Ring camera captured). It was extremely invasive and such a massive time sink trying to unsubscribe from everything that I could no longer continue with the camera. I also had to jump through hoops to remove all my information. Between the Ring camera complications and emotional distress of home security, I gave up and returned it. With this Eufy camera, the only notifications you’ll get are the necessary ones pertaining to your immediate point of interest, wherever the camera is recording. You control fully where it points and can even browse around remotely with its fluid rotation, even directly below it. It is truly a perfect utilitarian camera with an easy to navigate, understand, minimal, and gorgeous interface.

Overall, great camera. Phone App needs improvement.
The video quality exceeded my expectations, and I was kind of surprised how good the black and white night vision was. I like that the camera is not super bulky like some of the others I was considering. Very easy to set up, and to pair to the Homebase.Only 2 major gripes that I have with this camera. 1) I wouldve liked the mounting bracket to be able to mount vertically, like up into a ceiling or rafter. And 2) the solar panel mount could be a little longer. There is one other gripe, but it has to do with the phone App. You can "share" the system with other residents in the house, which sends them an email that tells them to click on some link in order to connect to the Homebase and cameras. But there is nothing in the email you can click on to do so. So one of the residents tried creating their own account under their own email, and then scanned the Homebase and a camera to connect to her account. And then I noticed they disappeared from my account, like I no longer could see and have access to the Homebase, like it unlinked from my account when the other resident linked them to their's. Thought that maybe this was some kind of glitch, so I just rescanned the Homebase and a camera back under my account, and then it disappeared from the other resident's account. So, now we all just use my account, but there's also the issue that sometimes it will log someone out on their phone. But yea, I'm not sure if we're just doing something wrong, so if there is something we're missing, then I'll be back to edit this review...
