The book is great, covering all of the key themes of Psychology the main people involved Freud, Piaget, so great explanation and lots of useful information to be found.

I really liked the topics discussed in this book. It was a good introduction.There are minor typos and certain questions I have regarding the end of chapter tests, but apart from that, it was well structured and easy to follow. Interesting case studies as well!

Though this book covers many topics in psychology, it doesn’t really cover them in any great depth. This of course is the definition of an ‘Introduction’, and is certainly a useful resource for anyone new to the subject. But anyone looking for critiques of Freud or Piaget’s developmental theories, or illustrations of Vygotsky’s Zone of Proximal Development, or even the bell-shaped curve when discussing intelligence, will be disappointed.On the other hand, the book has ‘Dig deeper’ sections with links to articles and further reading, as well as many fact checking sections where students, and general readers alike, can keep track of their understanding of the text. There are also many helpful ‘Spotlight’ and ‘Case-study’ sections; and references to the studies referred to in the text are listed at the back and hyperlinked in the kindle version, which is the text I purchased.I hope you find my review helpful.

Very interesting book

Very interesting book and I enjoy it very much. If you are looking for a psychology book that goes into great depth I don't think this would be the book for you. This in probably best for beginners. Or even just someone who has an interest in this subject. But all and all it's very interesting
