2022 Apple TV 4K Wi‑Fi + Ethernet with 128GB Storage (3rd Generation)

I have a Hisense U6G TV and a Zebronics Zeb 3850 soundbar.Standalone they are above average products, with Apple TV 4K they behave like they are great products. Apple TV 4K (a top tier product) pulls its companions further in quality and performance.The sound clarity, various unique and carefully designed options such as “Reduce Loud Sounds” make my soundbar more comfortable. It has the best bluetooth quality for headphones/earphones. If you have AirPods, it’s so seamless. I use other brand headphones, and they work great, occasional audio delay is seen, a restart fixes it. It’s much better compared to the Android 9 experience of Hisense U6G. The restart barely takes about 10 seconds.Option to color calibrate TV (U6G was already accurate), greatly process the video using the A15 bionic, and displaying on a decent screen such as Hisense U6G or any midrange screen/projector is such a beautiful experience.Now, my combination of these 3 devices together is a perfect TV choice for a midrange user like me. On top of it, AirPlay from my iPhone, iPad & Mac is so fluid. I find AirPlay picture quality to be much superior to Android Chromecast on a midrange TV. One important aspect to consider is using high quality HDMI cables for 4K Dolby Vision and ATMOS support, no screen flickering or similar connectivity related issues.I am a longtime Apple user, so I know what tvOS brings compared to Android TV.If you are an Apple user, it’s a no-brainer.If you are not familiar, with Apple products, start with the TV. It’s the best addition you can make to your video streaming and occasional gaming experiences. The gaming graphics is comparable to Android flagship phones. The flagship iPhones are still better in performance. We get a slightly underclocked/binned A15 bionic on Apple TV 4K 2022.Is it worth to spend a 15k for a streaming box? Yes, considering it would last easily 5-7 years, sometimes even more.Other counterparts give up in half the time becoming slow and sluggish. Overall experience is such a compromise on the Android ecosystem. I wish they had Snapdragon 7/8 series chips in one good TV box. That could have competed to some extent, but that would escalate the cost by many folds.Anyway, coming back to the consistency in UI elements, overall smooth UX is a big bonus. The boot time is about ~10 seconds, with zero lag whichever app you launch. My TV needs ~15 seconds to boot. So unfortunately, I have wait a few seconds until the home screen of Hisense U6G TV is live.One has to set match content and framerate options “off” in HDR settings for midrange TVs as the intermediate black screen is very annoying. You may have slight compromise in overall cinema experience because of this, but I find it better this way. While this is a very convenient setting, for higher quality you can try setting 4K SDR 60, and turn match content and frame rate ON. This gives the highest quality of SDR switches to HDR (Dolby Vision or HDR10+) only on required content. The tvOS UI renders in full colors in in SDR, but in HDR it feels dull and Chroma settings go down to 4:2:2 from 4:4:4.If you want to learn more, you got to watch some reviews on the UI of tvOS.Thanks for reading my review, hit the helpful button if you found so.
