We have retired and downsized our home. This cookbook is great for meal planning and efficiently cooking for two. I have made several recipes from this book. I find with planning and portioning as I shop, we have no food waste. I made the chocolate cake for my hubby's birthday. Using the 6 inch pan was enough. We had cake for 3 days. I have also made some of the soup and pork chop recipes. This is my "go-to" cookbook for day to day meals. This cookbook would also be good for young couples, college students or cooking meals for sick, elderly neighbors when a small batch is needed. I have shared recipes with neighbors from this book.

This book was amazing and gave me a jump start to preparing meals for two. Illustrations are beautiful and recipes are easy to follow. Would recommend if you’re wanting a good cookbook.

This cookbook has changed our lives for the better. I love the pictures, the knife-cutting tricks, the variety of meals,etc. easy to follow directions and a great way to try new meals without so much excess leftover!

This is an excellent cookbook for empty nesters (like me)! It offers a wide variety of easy-to-follow recipes. I always have it on my countertop! I know it's easy to use the internet for recipes, but I like to scribble comments after we've tried recipes, so I'm old school when it comes to cooking for 2. This one's a keeper!

The vast majority of the recipes are reasonably easy to prepare with few “exotic” ingredients.

This cookbook is fabulous. Not only for the recipes but I also absolutely love that they state other ways they've tried to do the recipe and what worked and what didn't work and why.

I bought this as a wedding gift & the young couple were very excited to try all the recipes. Beautiful hardcover book too!!
