Well made and look great

I rated the install as a 5 and the sturdiness as a 4. I did not rate the durability yet as I just installed these today, I will update my review after these have been on the bike for a while. I used loctite on the mounting threads to make sure it wont vibrate loose! Well after 1200 miles the flag poles broke off on the highway at 80 mph! So I lost the American flag and the POW/MIA flag I bought a total of about $40. I would not recommend these as they didn't stand up to any amount of miles. Maybe I got a bad set, we will see if the manufacturer is willing to step up and do anything about it or not.UPDATE: They sent me new flag poles today, here is the email I sent them:I received the new flagpoles today, thank you. I wanted to know if I could send you the one flag back and have you send me the POW/MIA flag as that is the one I lost also. I do appreciate you standing behind this product as I also own a small bike repair shop. There isn't many today that have that customer service! Thank you very much!

Cheaply made flags. The mount seems sturdy so far

I have been running these mounts for over two years now. They are sturdy even at highway speeds and have never broken or come loose. However, they must be set up right the first time! The topper/ ball needs to just be hand tight. The pole into the actual mount needs RED Loctite and then tighten then firmly. Where the mount contacts the rack or bar I'd suggest electrical tape on the rack or bar just to add some support. One layer is enough. For the screws that hold the mount on to the rack or bar, use blue Loctite and tighten them firmly. These cannot just be tossed on and expected to endure highway speeds, especially when running larger flags like the ones shown.

the flag holders are ok, wish they were actually closer to the size of the luggage rack, but - tape under helped.However, be ready to replace flags right away if you ride on a highway....

Looks great

Lost one flag pole in first 20 miles. Could not get it apart without wrecking it at install to install Loctite. The other flag material came apart after a 50 mile ride. I would not buy them.
