Superior 6L80 6L90 8L90 Sure Cool System Upgrade STL010 with Bypass Gasket

Good price, easy to put on, works great. My transmission runs alot cooler. 50 to 60 degrees cooler driving and 40 to 50 degrees cooler at idling. Highest temperature at idle 154 and 138 driving.

Installed a torque converter in my 6l80 and decided to put new transmission cooler lines on and add this kit to drop my trans Temps and save it. Appears it opens about 160 and runs between 164-170 compared to 194-200. On short drives to work my Temps didn't reach 150. Definitely worth buying if you have a gm and want to drop your trans Temps.

Works perfectly in my 2016 Yukon SLT with 6L80 transmission! There are great videos online on how to install this, so definitely watch one and pay attention to the details like not losing the small O-rings on the pipes. The kit is very easy to install once you get the block out and the instruction sheet is also very clear. Before installing it, my transmission temperatures would run around 180-195 degrees, but after installing it the temperature is down to around 120 on the highway, and most of the time LOWER than that. Sometimes it goes up to 145, but definitely lower temps than before the kit was installed. HIGHLY recommend this bypass, if you're used to working on your vehicle yourself and can follow the online video instructions, it's very easy to do. I did it in my driveway with the truck up on ramps.

Great product! My trans temp was low 200's while highway driving. This brought my temp down to low 170's. Actually it hasent been over 172 yet. It was easy to install with clear instructions. It took about 15 minutes start to finish. Very satisfiedUpdate: my trans temp has actually been running even cooler now. My 1st review was the day I installed it. After the 1st day, my temp hasn't been over 154

Would recommend. Regular temps coolant doesn’t kick in till about 190. Would go to 196 and drop down. After installing first day wouldn’t get above 130. Few days later , when it’s going through stop and go traffic it’ll get up to the 170s, but once you get moving it’ll start dropping usually on the high way is when I see the most improvement or whenever your just steady riding. Iv had it sit at 130-140 and I can tell a big difference just in how it drives. 130k Miles’s on a 14 1500 lt. Just hope I made change before it’s too late, will probably just get a change done and not a flush, as well as get differential fluid and transfer case next. Also gotta install oil catch can bought I got! So far loving it, also using the k&n oil and catch filter and swear it adds more HP, along with the AFM delete either a Diablo 8200

Easy installation, good quality, fit great

Worth every penny, installed this when replacing a leaky transmission line and I wish I had bought it years ago. My truck runs at least 30 + degrees cooler and I no longer worry about transmission temperature and with an aftermarket B&M transmission pan it stays cool even towing/hauling. The ability to check your fluid level cold is also a nice, since this device allows fluid to pass you no longer have to check after driving.
