This camera amazes me on a daily basis, no joke. I wanted a 360 camera for years but couldn't justify the price for the offerings at the time. A friend of mine has the X3 and his footage was amazing. When I compared the two, I just knew the X4 was the perfect fit for me. I bought this primarily for travel videos (making things a little more creative). But I also plan to put it on my mountain bike. I already had it on a selfie stick and had it positioned out my driver's side window (not too far, just above my mirror) and the footage was clear as can be and very smooth. I bought a neck mount to test how walking around with the camera would be. Neck mount was great, and the footage was unbelievably smooth considering I was walking on a hilly/bumpy lawn. It didn't have that up and down motion you see with other cameras while walking. The stabilization blew me away. I have also used it for driving by placing it on different mounts in my front windshield. That has also been pretty great. My only issue with the camera, and I think this is something I just personally need to revisit is the exposure in the sky while driving has been overexposed in the daylight every single time. The whole sky is blown out. I am using the premium lens guards, but I was hoping the auto exposure would handle this better. Like I said, that might just be a setting I need to understand better. Battery life has also been pretty great. I do plan on buying numerous batteries due to traveling and not having access to charge up as often as I would hope. It also does have a voice recognition thing which I have used numerous times. That way I don't have to push the record button. I like that feature a lot. I have been pretty impressed with not just the camera but the accessories I have bought have all been incredibly sturdy and well constructed. I will say that the included case does not fit ALL selfie sticks, only the smallest one I believe fit the carrying case. It also wouldn't fit the camera if you have the quick release mount on it. I wish there was a little more leeway with space. I probably will just order an off market case/bag for it. Not sure what that is actually called, but the gray case thing. The app for 360 is pretty great too.... but it does not offer all the same features that the desktop application does. I could not find direction lock in the app, but it is on the desktop one. Anyways, this camera is truly a game changer and has millions of possibilities for editing/creating.

This was definitely an investment, however, having a camera while riding your motorcycle is very important! There are many different options on how to mount it with all of the equipment provided. The camera quality is also very clear and precise, with limitless settings and adjustments. Set up, downloading and connecting the app, and installation of the camera itself takes no more than 15-20 minutes. I've ridden in the pouring rain and on the hottest days with this camera, and it stays in perfect condition. My friends and I have fun switching it between our motorcycles, and always get the best shots. I highly recommend this product!

The invisible selfie stick effect is nuts. The stabilization and editing tools built into the app make everything look cinematic. Whether I’m filming action shots or lifestyle content, this camera delivers. Battery life holds up well and it’s surprisingly durable. Highly recommended if you create content or just want epic footage of your adventures. It works in the rain, very light weight.

The media could not be loaded. X4 no longer the newest and greatest 360 camera on the market. The X5 now has that honor. The x4 is still no slouch though. The cameras ease of use and the 8k 360 ability is top notch. I use mine for my motorcycle 🏍 Instagram. I am now getting angles I could not get with my gopro 9. I purchased mine a month before the x5 came out. Had I known I would of waited but I'm still glad I got the X4. It stands up against the X5 toe to toe except for nights. X5 is better, still you will love the X4. The ease, the editing app, the pictures and videos it takes and overall looks make it a great camera. Brief example of small clip and screen shots.

I have tried to update this post twice, but it keeps not saving. ** update** instant 360 company is great to work with and their customer service goes above and beyond to try and make things right. Amazon told me they were going to refund me $115 because the camera was over a week late and still hadn’t been delivered. It finally came in a couple of days later and when I’ve reached out to Amazon to find out why I hadn’t received my refund they told me they couldn’t give me anything back because it was a third-party seller and the camera had been delivered. Even though I had screenshot proof that Amazon customer service had been the one to tell me they were going to send me $115 for my trouble. After arguing with them for several weeks, the Insta 360 company decided they would go ahead and refund me the money even though it was Amazon’s mistake. I highly recommend this camera in the Insta 360 company I just do not recommend ordering it through Amazon.Camera itself is great I love it but I’d recommend just going to their actual site and ordering it it took a week and a half after I was supposed to have gotten it in for them to even ship it and a total of 2 weeks after I should’ve gotten it for it to actually come in. Was supposed to get a partial refund for the long wait but honestly don’t expect that to happen since there are multiple other reviews saying theirs was damaged and they never got their full refund.

5 stars — My bike’s third eye.Slapped this beast on my handlebars and suddenly I’m filming like Michael Bay on two wheels. Crisp, stable, and wide enough to catch the bugs hitting my helmet and the cars I pass in shame.The mount holds like it owes me money — no wobble, no drama, just vibes and velocity. Insta360 X4 doesn’t just capture the ride… it immortalizes it.Only downside? Now I need a cooler helmet.

The quality is amazing, the only con for me is that it dies in like an hour, but other than that, I love it, not shaky, and comes with a case and protection.
