Works great, and love how it fits long was on the counter. With four slots it works perfect for our family of 4. Just need to adjust the heating level depending on the bread thickness and if there is one or four pieces in it. But really easy to use and great capacity for a family.

First the similarity between this 40’dollar unit and the 70 ‘ dollar one is almost identical. The 70$ one is a Lofter . Not available anymore last I checked which is good but it does have cool looks like and old bus from the 40-50’s or is it 60’s ? lol 😂Issues with the lofter is the long brace that holds the toast . Getting a thicker piece of bread like NY Bagles in there which are tad wide sometimes binds a bit but not bad. What happens is the doing 4 slices there’s no spring support on back side of the lift rack that holds the toast . After a bit they get bent down then you have dig out your toast . Bending back up is a temporary fix . Apparently after a few times the lift racks get weak and that’s the end of that .So far no issues with the new one other then toasting evenness . Heats wires not uniform along the plates .some uneven toasting . The Lofter was worse . How hard is it make a toaster toast evenly? lol 😆What I like about the Lofter was the end controls you can put the unit anywhere .This unit not so much for me it’s I have it placed to the right of the stove . I prefer it to sit along the counter wall front to back but I’d have move to the right of stove to have access to the controls which I don’t like because it’s just farther away in the sense of convenience.I seem to have the knob turned to at least 4 to get some breads to toast to the level I like sometimes it’s needs more toasting . Not tested it past that point yet . I don’t use the warming rack Guy thing I guess lolThe knob definitely needs a white dot on it .I guess we could get a paint pen or little dot sticker to put on it help see it better or any other method you might like to use .Ok that’s it for the Eliite Gourmet ( Elite hahaha that kills me lol 😆) 😊 so three or 4 stars you pic !

If you live with multiple toast‑eaters or fancy yourself a bagel/bun connoisseur, this toaster is a breakfast MVP. It’s shiny, versatile, and gets that browning just how you like. Yes, it hums a bit and might occasionally give you uneven toast, but overall it’s a fun, reliable, and feature‑packed kitchen sidekick.

We have purchased 2 toasters as gifts to adult children (no complaints), 2 for ourselves and 1 was returned prior to use. When fully functioning, this is an excellent toaster. Have had to return 1 at the 'testing' stage and before use because not all of the elements were heating up. No problem with toast being burned - but keep in mind when making multiple consecutive batches the heating elements are already hot and the toast level needs to be reduced slightly to avoid over-toasting. Also, beyond bagels, different types of bread require different toast times, it all depends on bread content variables and freshness so adjust accordingly. We had to replace our first toaster because someone (not me, LOL) had re-toasted a slice 'for just a second', forgot, and forced the lever up manually instead of using the cancel button because of burning toast and we believe it broke the magnet that holds the lever down. Before this, the lever stayed down and worked appropriately. Lesson learned - use the timer always! That's why they have the cancel option - or just unplug if urgent. Also with our first toaster one of the slots no longer worked because our son broke the elements trying to retrieve a small gluten frozen pancake. Definitely operator errors so we are trying again. But back to the frozen pancakes - the inside wire slots are about 1-1/4" apart and allows smaller crooked frozen waffles/pancakes to sometimes get caught between the slot and the heating elements and the food then kind of bakes permanently wrapped in between the wires and are hard to pull out. Hopefully, in their next update, they will reduce the slot distance to IDK maybe .75"? In the meantime, teaching kids to be careful when using with bent frozen pancakes and waffles. Also, I had to use a white sharpie to fill in the hole on the temperature dial to make it easier to see when setting. We all want a $10 toaster but can't dial back time, so the current price is reasonable given the other options.

Awesome toaster with an easy digital display! The timer is easily seen and the size of the slots is great for almost every type of bread. No wobble and quite sturdy. I love the multiple types of breads on the display along with how easy the timer is to set. Well worth the price and highly advise getting this if you like a more modern toaster and kitchen appliances.

Very sleek and looks nice. Great size for RV counter. However, it does not get dark toasting. At setting 5 (out of 6) it barely gets golden toasted. It's fine for me but for hubs he'd prefer it more solid of a dark golden color. Missed return window.
