Prosport Gauges Performance Series Amber/White 52mm Mechanical Boost Gauge Kit

First one arrived and the needle was just sitting in the box not on the gauge. Contacted the vendor and they kicked butt as I expected and replaced it immediately! Good gauge and works very well. The visibility on this item in daytime or night is great.

Awesome boost gauge and easy to install I like the dark tint design that completely blacks out the gauge when the car is not on.

The instructions are very universal so you can definitely play around with the setup. The provided T fitting is actually of some decent quality, won't snap when you're tightening clamps. The provided hose was extremely small so I ended up buying a different diameter and hooked it up no problem. As a lot of others say, it has this dark lens that blocks incoming light so it has to be lit up to see during the day. definitely nice for night use though

after researching for hours considering gauges that cost $100+ that i couldn't justify spending on, i decided to get the cheapest option on prime. I think it is a pretty solid boost guage. Installed it in my 91 mr2 turbo and it is pretty accurate showing 7psi with no boost control on the car which is exactly as expected. Vacuum line wasn't long enough for my application but that's because of the mid-engine layout, most won't have this issue. Highly recommended.

Gauges are OK if you don't mind not seeing them well during the day. They're also great if you like your reading to be off by 2 psi.I modified mine with a clear piece of acrylic I picked up from home depot to replace the glass so that I can see the gauge clearly during the day. Both photos are with the clear acrylic. With the tinted glass, the light emitted from the gauge is barely enough to see, but not enough to be able to quickly and clearly read the gauge. Also, the needle goes off by about 2 psi (reads low) over time (depicted in the daytime photo). There is a way to adjust where the needle rests by pushing or pulling on a mechanism inside using a small Allen key. I managed to break my first gauge doing this, so I purchased this gauge again. Same low reading issue plagued the second one. I guess these things are just that poorly made. It's a shame though, because it seems like a decent gauge minus the 2 issues that I mentioned. Spend a bit extra and get something of better quality.

I was initially very pleased with this gauge. After a bit over a year, the LEDs that illuminate the white colored lettering started flickering, and then failed to illuminate half of the gauge. So, now the LEDs that illuminate the white letters/numbers on the vac (left side) of the gauge don't work, with the LED at the top of the gauge starting to intermittently flicker. The red LEDs (which I have set to turn on with the headlights) are working fine. I'm considering another one of these gauges but not sure if I'll run into the same issue?

When it is off you can not see a thing on the screen and as soon as its on the color display is nice and bright(I have set to light up white on my Evo X) if anything my only complain would be that it lights up too bright and during the nighttime it actually draws more attention than my gauges do, but after a few days of driving you adjust to it and learn to only look at when you need to.

Gauge looks Really nice but it did not read correctly after 3 months.
