Outstanding Therapy and Training Product for Feet, Toes and Lower Leg

I bought this because my physical therapy company uses it. I read consumer reviews, however, on Amazon, prior to buying. I prefer this one because it is US made. It also has better features than cheaper options. I suggest you pay more and get something that takes care of your body, because your body is priceless. This Slant board is used in my home fitness center for stretching my hammer toes, stretching my plantar tendons, and for stretching lower leg extendor muscles. (Gastrocnemus, etc.). I also use this for strengthening my calf muscles. It adjusts. That is important. Low level for lower resistance. I had a Gastrocnemus Recession, both legs, so my calf strength is less than ideal. This helps greatly.

This is a professional slant board.

This is the same slant board my physical therapist uses. Durable and comfortable enough I can use it even while wearing just socks. The price is competitive, too.

Well worth the money

This is a great product! The build is incredibly sturdy and well thought out. The grip tape is very grippy. In fact I do my exercises barefoot and I have no problem staying stuck to the board. Also, I weigh about 190 pounds and in no way do I feel unstable.

Gives the Perfect Stretch

I have drop foot, and it's been getting worse. I remembered using one of these during a PT visit years ago, so I started looking into them. Everything I read recommended this one, so I took the plunge and bought it.I used it on the lowest incline, and could've stayed there for hours! It was a perfect stretch, and I used it three or four times in a couple of hours. It's very stable and sturdy, and I'm really happy with it!

Doesn't work with socks on

Exceeded expectations of quality. The wood feels substantial. I keep it in our living room and it looks like furniture. The incline adjustment is effortless, while also very secure in place.A couple things to note, which I think would be true of any slant board like this:1. You have to be either wearing shoes or barefoot in order to have enough friction. If you are only wearing socks, you will slide off.2. I do not yet know if there is too great a variation between incline settings. The setting I am using now provides a good stretch, but the next notch seems to be a pretty big jump. Again, I think all slant boards of this design will have that issue since there needs to be a minimum distance between notches in wood.I am going to get a (slightly less than)-half-round foam in addition to this slant board. Those work well with socks, since your heel is on the floor. Also, they're light and easy to move. The downside being that they are not like a piece of furniture, and for that reason, I am going to keep this one. The half-round that I tried from amazon was too high, and it was also too slippery and did not stay in place. But I have used ones before that work very well. If I can find it again, I will link it here.

Just like my PT uses, great for stretching

I recently had physical therapy for a knee issue. As part of my treatment, my therapist had me use a slant board for stretching. I figured I could jury-rig something at home to replicate the slant board, but after several experiments, I threw in the towel and started shopping for a proper slant board to purchase.I selected this board because it looked very similar to what I was using in the PT office. I was very impressed with the quality of the product when it arrived. Yes, it is big and bulky and heavy, but that makes it very stable. Yes, you have to wear shoes to use it, because the safety treads are very aggressive and socks will not work (barefoot would be uncomfortable).I like the range of adjustments for the angle of the board. There are cutouts on the side for use in lifting and carrying the board -- the cutouts are thoughtfully covered with a rubbery insert that makes it comfortable on your hands. It seems to be a well-crafted product. 100% happy with this slant board.
